If the student needs to defer the start of their program of study by more than one academic session, they will still need to reapply for a Temporary Study Selection. margin: 0px !important;\">PERMANENT RESIDENCE EASIER FOR FOREIGN DOCTORS<\/h2>\nIn order to address the labour shortage in Canada, particularly in the health field, the Canadian government wants to facilitate access to permanent residency for foreign doctors. Aware of this attraction, and of the needs in terms of manpower that remain enormous, the Canadian government is continuously improving its immigration system to facilitate the arrival of foreigners. In September, the Honorable <strong  style=\"color: #000;\">Sean Fraser<\/strong>, <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship<\/span>nnounced measures to improve the client experience and reduce backlogs. It is with this in mind that, the government announced on November 1st, 2022, the 2023-2025 immigration levels plan to address Canada's social and economic challenges.
